Woodie G. Webb...Died Oct. 21, 2005.  Born in Kansas City, MO; he is survived by his mother, Pansy; sister, Beverle Wells; niece, Jessica Gilbert; nephew, Steven Wells.  He was a member of the United States Air Force; a 32nd Degree in the Scottish Rite, and a member of Mensa. Oct. 26, 2005, Daily News of Los Angeles, CA. (It was listed as Woddie G. Webb on the internet.)

________________________________________________

I did not know Woodie in our school days but we became friends by e-mails since the 40th reunion in 2000.  I had called him to verify his information for the class and he was so happy to hear from a classmate and to know that he had fellow Christian brothers and sisters in the class.  He was one of the reasons I decided to start a prayer warrior e-mail group in our class.  Anytime I sent out a prayer request, he was one of the first to respond and let me know that he would be praying.  When Toni, my wife, was so ill, he was one of the many people supporting us.

Soon after that, he developed a recurrence of cancer that he fought with all his might.  Several of us, who communicated with him, could tell how sick he was by the lack of e-mails and the incoherent e-mails we did receive.

One thing he and I talked about was that he knew where he was going when he left this world...that he would be with Jesus...and that he would no longer have any pain!  He would want to be a testimony to Christ in his life and his death.   (Don Davis)

Wayne Zirzow,
I am sorry to continue to report sad news of our class but I'm afraid as we get more involved in updating information, we will find more news of this kind. We do know that believers in Christ, who leave this place are in a far better place today, but we as humans still feel the loss.

Wayne Zirzow passed away two years ago. He and I had been in regular e-mail contact before and after the last reunion in 2000 but his e-mails had stopped coming and I assumed he had got busy or his computer crashed or something along those lines.

I started trying to find him again yesterday and went to the internet. I found reference to him from our class site and from his work site and then I found a site which listed his two daughters as his survivors. This morning I tried to call his wife but that number was no longer in service so I went back to the internet and found his daughters names and found their phone numbers. I talked to Ann Miles, his daughter in PA (where both daughters live). She told me that Wayne and his wife had been in PA visiting their family two years ago and he became ill, they rushed him to the hospital but he did not make it. She said he had suffered from diabetes for years and that it had slowed him down and contributed to his heart attack. She, also, told me that his wife is in the process of moving to PA to be closer to the family at this time.  (Submitted by Don Davis)
