Reunion 45

Hello everyone: SAVE THE DATE!

The 45th SMN 1960 Class reunion is on the calendar for Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Milburn Country Club. It will be a casual evening at a great location. Charlie Plumb has agreed to be our MC for the evening.

We'll be CASUAL and carefree as we remember the "good ole' days"!

Yikes! How can it have happened to us? It's just the "Old Folks" who talk about those days!

Realizing that our 50th Reunion is close, the committee decided to have a one-event reunion this time around. Everyone agrees, however, that the 50th should be a BIG DEAL! The recommendation of the current committee is that for the fiftieth we have a hotel headquarters and a full weekend of fun.

We are attempting to update our address directory. If you or others you know have a new address, please let us know ASAP. A letter will be going out before Thanksgiving and we want to reach as many as possible. Also, we want to have accurate information for the directory we are preparing for attendees.

Right now, our expenses are paid for the web site. Thank you to those who have sent contributions for that expense. Any donations you want to make for postage, stationery, etc. would be appreciated. (Checks to: SMN 1960 Class Reunion) We hope to make all our expenses without anyone having to bear a financial burden.

Our new PO Box address is: SMN 1960 Reunion, P.O. Box 613, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201-0612. The box has been rented for one year.

Spread the word! If any of you are interested in helping with the festivities, we will be working, in earnest, next summer! We've enlisted Ellie Dyke to make the name tags again! Decorations, memorabilia, entertainment, school tour, etc. will all need special attention.
